Jewellery is such an inseparable part of a woman’s life. No matter what walk of life you come from, whether you work from home or have a frantic 9-5 job or are a stay at home mom, there are always some pieces that pass as your favourites, that one can’t do without & end up wearing more often than not! And of course it’s a completely different ball game when it comes to weddings and the intricacies involved! For me, when I was shopping for my trousseau jewellery, I wanted pieces that would work with my Indian looks as well as my day to day ensembles. Traditional Indian wedding jewellery is often heavy and although appropriate for the wedding days, the biggest challenge was to strike a balance between the wedding needs and my personal style! While scouting for the perfect pick, I found the platinum Evara collection to be modern and minimalistic. Apart from being contemporary it’s also classic, making the pieces timeless! It’s the kind of jewellery that is a must-have in every bride-to-be’s trousseau, it’s versatility shines! You can don it at your best friend’s wedding or even at a family get together! It’s light weight yet alluring, making it a go-to for me. I’ve styled my favourite pieces with so many looks from a saree to a casual dress to classic kurta and somehow the design and the colour seems to work with it all!

We, the women of today are independent and form a huge part of the country’s working populous. Not only do we strive to succeed but we also have this urge to be unique and different. And platinum jewellery is just that. Rare, modern and unique, it makes for the most ideal choice for a bride because its precious jewellery that has the heft of a statement jewellery while being contemporary, subtle and so elegant.  For me, when it comes to taking a look from a regular work day to a special date night, I’d style a pair of platinum earrings with it to amp up both the looks in just the perfect way! I even paired them with my traditional clothes while hosting our family and even for auspicious festivals like Diwali. The platinum Evara collection is multifaceted, giving you the various opportunities to don them unlike your heavy gold or diamond jewellery! All in all, for me these have been the pieces I have been reaching out the most and highly recommend letting go of some of the gold to embrace the new, modern, platinum. If you’re a bride to be, I’d only suggest two things- It’s probably one of the most special days in your life, so don’t be afraid to be unique and make unconventional choices, be it with your outfit, hair, make up or jewellery! But remember to think ahead & have an eclectic trousseau that is sure to take care of your needs then and later ! And second, don’t forget to let your hair down and enjoy! If you feel like going light weight with jewellery then do it! Because that’ll do its trick, let your personality shine through and not come in your way while you dance the night away.
