When it comes to travel, the chance to discover and experience something is what I love the most. But before I embark on an adventure, I need to know what I am getting into. 

A vacation for me usually means a staycation when I also get a lot of work done. And you could imagine, being available and staying connected is essential for me even when I am not in Delhi. I can’t think of being detached from everything for an extended period of time.

That’s one reason I haven’t been to some places. Additionally, I need data connectivity to make my trip a smooth one. For example, I need data access to find information about local attractions as well as find my way with online navigation. Before going on a trip, I definitely check what connectivity looks like in a particular area. 

I recently found out that Airtel has extended its 4G network in the Lakshadweep islands. The place has been on my list for a long time and now I know that I can enjoy high-speed data, I want to make this trip happen sooner. I have heard a lot about the natural beauty in Lakshadweep and now with high-speed network connectivity there, I can have a smooth journey and also keep you guys posted about my adventures there. 

I love sharing with you guys the sights, food and culture of the places I visit. In fact, every trip is an opportunity to create loads of good content. I like to know what aspects of a particular place other people have covered and what else I can cover. The fact that I can create and share pictures and videos on the go never ceases to amaze me. Now that Airtel is available in Lakshadweep, I think it is the perfect time to visit, capture scenic vistas by the sea and share those sights with loved ones in real time. Let the pictures roll in on the timelines of your loved ones!

That also reminds me it’s been a while that I have taken some time for myself. I need to do that from time to time. Spending time in a new place rejuvenates me like nothing else. I always look forward to new people, surroundings, food and experiences. And most importantly, perspective. I think it makes all the difference. 

When Michaelangelo was asked how he created a piece of sculpture, he said, “The sculpture is already complete within the marble block, before I start my work. It is already there, I just have to chisel away the superfluous material.”

For me, a trip to a beach is one way to see the full picture. Things that already exist but I may not see in the normal course of life. I seem to find more to myself with new and exciting experience I have. That’s why I think spending some time with yourself is really the way to go
