As you guys are aware that I have been traveling quite actively for last few months, I have so much to share with you guys.
I love traveling and when the Delhi weather gets too much or the air gets tad too unbearable, getting out of town is the best idea for me besides just taking a break from the usual schedule.
While it’s easier to plan a domestic trip mostly because of shorter flights, one usually shies away from planning a quick international trip not just because of connecting flights but also the air fares which dissolve the whole purpose of quicker, smaller, pocket friendly getaways.
This is where GoAir’s direct flights to Male from Delhi/Bombay/Bangalore come as a saviour. You can now plan a quick trip to Maldives thanks to GoAir’s direct flights to Male with the return tickets not exceeding INR 30,000/-. Crazy, I know!!!
I took a trip to Maldives with GoAir last month and had the best time. Starting from a comfortable and fuss-free flight experience mostly thanks to the great staff, to the beautiful property that I stayed in – Movenpick. It was just the break I needed.
Getting to the property is convenient too in case you guys are wondering. Once you land at the Male airport, you take a sea plane (we took Transmaldivian Airlines) to get to the resort.
Located in Noonu Atoll, our resort, Movenpick Maldives, was barely a 45 mins flight from Male Airport. With 72 overwater pool villas, 30 beach pool suites and three beach spa pool residences, the property was beyond beautiful. I had an entire Overwater Pool Villa to myself and spent some really good time chilling not just in my private pool watching the sunset but also walking around on the beach or eating my heart out with the restaurants offering not just local but global cuisines. The property also offers various excursions and activities such as snorkelling, turtle spotting, sailing and more. The spa also offers some really good massage options to look into. For me it was the perfect getaway with right amount of leisure and fun!
Here are some pictures from my trip in case you missed my stories/posts before:
I will be sharing a small video summing up my trip on my instagram soon but I do highly recommend Maldives as a great destination if you’re looking for a break from the hectic schedule or mundane lifestyle. And with GoAir direct flights available till the end of this month, it’s the right time!
Much Love,
P
