Quarantine is a great opportunity to focus on your personal growth. This includes care regarding your face too and it isn’t too hard by the way. You can include face care in your day to day routine and then it won’t be very hard to practice this on a daily basis. And the results? They are like never before!! Cracked lips, dark circles, pimples, oily skin, dry skin- all of this is covered for you in this post and presented on a platter. So there isn’t a need to visit your salon immediately for face related issues even after the lockdown gets over.

So let’s start with the most common face problems and their remedies.

Here’s how to take care of your face during quarantine.

1)    Pimples

These make you feel much more terrible than probably what a heartbreak makes you feel. So the immediate cure to this is ‘spot treatment through oil’. It is a known fact that cinnamon, rose, lavender and clove are the fighting agents against acne or pimples. Lemongrass is also very useful. So using their oils is a good choice.

Studies have also discovered that acetic acid and citric acid are also good to go with acne. Do the spot treatment once or twice a day after washing your face with a face wash. You’ll see results soon.

2)   Cracked Lips

This is a problem very commonly faced when too much lipstick is used and not removed properly or either the lips are bitten off too often or not taken care of.

Use a good but not so harsh lip balm. Use a lip scrub to even out the lips. Aloevera, coconut oil, honey with sugar, cucumber are very useful. Apply one of the above once in a day and leave it for around 15 minutes before washing. You would see glamourous results if you follow this for a few days.

3)   Blackheads

The popular cure for this is a clay mask. But what if you aren’t really a mask person? Use a mixture of two tablespoons of baking soda and two tablespoons of water and mix it together to form a paste. Leave it on your skin for less than ten minutes. Repeat this just 2-3 times in a week or else the baking soda can cause dryness.

You can also use a mixture of brown sugar, honey and lemon juice and apply this once in a day and you would be good to go.

4)   Oily Skin

Honey is the purest natural cure you could ever find on this planet. It has antibacterial and antiseptic elements benefiting oily skin and acne too. Apply honey once a day on your face and leave it for 10 minutes and the miracle you will notice is just wow!

5)   Dry Skin

Many ladies especially during the lockdown face this huge problem. Skin Specialists have stated that the problem of dry skin is very common during quarantine and you do not need to panic about it. All you gotta do is just wash your face twice a day and apply good cream.

You can also apply olive oil or virgin coconut oil once a day to make your skin more smoother. Citric Acid is very effective. So fruits like orange and lemon should be certainly on your shopping list

6)   Open Pores

Just as how common this problem is, the wider range of solutions does it have. You can use literally so many natural elements to cure this. It starts right from applying aloe vera gel to mashed papaya to besan with turmeric powder and yogurt and oil to banana peels to the most filmy, cucumber slices and much more. All of these can be put on your face for 20 minutes approximately everyday.

So today is a good day to involve all these tips in your routine. Now that you have dealt with some major facial problems, the only solution is that after reading this, you get up from your couch and start right away!!
