It’s Back-to-School season and wether you’re starting a new job, a new relationship or just a new hair do, it’s always nice to feel so Fresh and ready for anything for that time of the year! I went into Gwynnie Bee’s closet once again and played around with my favorite fall styles!
1/ Play with separates
One rule I always apply when picking clothes is “make sure it fits in”. In order to shorten my prep time every morning, I make sure I get pieces that pretty much would go with EVERYTHING I already own. That way, whatever I pick that morning, it will pretty much always look good and I save myself time and energy!
Don’t listen to magazines telling you print’s aren’t for you if you’re curvy…It’s not true and they should never be listened to anyways!
PJ pants are the best pants, and here I am proving you they aren’t only for week-ends!
Once again, I am proving prints are super cool and looking hot on those curves of yours! I love this bold print and those super fall colors. Just the right amount of punch with a all black look.
I love to play with volumes. When it’s a tight skirt, I’ll choose a loser fit top like this really simple and easy blouse that can go any direction, depending on your mood.
Whatever the outfit, I always go for comfy shoes. Who has any time for worrying about shoe pain or feeling stable while running to your next meeting? Not me! I love low boots for Fall, they’re the best shape and they work with any outfits!
2/ Dresses from day to night
Dresses are the easiest pick if you’re not into “making” an outfit from scratch! I love that they’re so versatile and so easy to work with. Here’s a couple of my top picks from work to after-work ?
This dress is the ultimate office dress. The cut is chic and corporate, showing just enough skin to be feminine but not enough to be considered too sexy. It’s also perfect for layering: add a blazer or a cardigan on top and never be too cold or too hot at your desk!
I like to pair my dresses with flat funky shoes, to take the “dressy” out of it and keep it more fun and casual. However this would work perfectly with classic ballerina flats or low heels if you can walk with it ?
A flare or A line dress is flattering to all, regardless of shape or size. It’s a great and safe go to!
Love the color depth of the dress, it’s a perfect fall color and super flattering on every skin tone!
Hair and make-up wise, I love a natural smoky eye for everyday, it’s warm and intense but just enough for the office and perfect for after-work drinks!
This dress is soooo back to school! It feels like watching Gossip Girl all over again! If you don’t know what the hell I am talking about, you missed something! Jump on Netflix and binge!
This bow detail is sexy yet appropriate for a work day and a perfect transitional dress fr after-work celebration, or even date night. I love that fabric too, it’s very soft and feels like I am wearing pretty much nothing. While at the office, I’d probably wear that with a long soft cardigan and belt it.
After these colorful options, I went for a very New York option, all black everything! Check this A line for me and tell me isn’t the coolest option of them all!
How cool are those romantic appliques? But don’t be fooled, this look can be way more Rock then Romantic!
This might be my fave look of all! So easy, so cool and so versatile. Just add tights and coat for the colder days and keep it office friendly with a light dress and blazer. It’s cool, elegant and sexy all at once!
