Online Workshop – Via Zoom!
Learn the basics of Hand embroidery and create your own tote bag with me on 6th September (Sunday) . I will be taking a 2 hour workshop which comes with a starter kit which has everything you need to make an embroidered Tote Bag. You will learn how to embroider a beautiful floral design which you can then use for shopping , carrying your stuff or to gift it to your friends and family
What you will learn in 2 hours:
- how to prep your embroidery hoop
- how to transfer an embroidery pattern onto fabric
- the basics of selecting the perfect thread and color theory
- how to create essential floral stitches, such as the woven wheel roses, french knots, lazy daisy , satin stitch etc
The Embroidery Kit
The kit will be sent to your home before the program. Each kit contains:
A 6 inch wooden embroidery hoop
Pre – illustrated , tote bag (Can take upto 10 kgs) with the floral pattern on it. ( ink is washable)
2 Embroidery needles
1 Thread Cutter/Nipper
Embroidery Threads – 5 colours
Illustrated stitch instructions (Sent Digitally)
And this is how the online workshop works:
After you register, you will receive an email with a custom URL link to join the session. You will be able to add the event to your calendar. Make sure to login 10 minutes before the workshop starts to avoid technical difficulties that may delay you.
While using Zoom I strongly recommend video participation. Unlike traditional webinars, I’m keeping our classes small and intimate. The idea of online workshop is also to foster community amongst its participants and part of this is seeing and interacting with each other as well as the option to receive feedback and support for your projects

*If you miss this session for any reason, I will not be able to provide you with a refund or reschedule your class.
*Please note that the fabric the Colours display differently on different monitors and on different fabrics. This means that the colours may appear slightly different to how it looks on screen.
*You will need to download the application ‘Zoom’. A big screen is recommended so try using a laptop/desktop/tablet so that you are able to do your embroidery and follow the instructions well.
After this workshop you’ll be equipped with a new skill to craft your way through quarantine!
